How To Generate Viral Traffic And First Page Rankings

Hey, guys, how are you doing? My name is Bill and today I want to take you through a marketing strategy that is being used by so many people, especially those people who are doing marketing around their product niches.

Welcome. Now, today I wanted to show you how to find how converging keywords, how to create popular and competitive authoritative content around keywords and to promote your content through blogger outreach.

This approach can be used by any person and can fit any niche, and it doesn’t matter whether your niche is boring or less attractive. You know what? Google doesn’t care how much often you update your content on your site.

If Google were to reward regularly updated sites like article directors would dominate the first page. When was the last time you saw an article directory dominating the first page of Google? It’s probably been years, right?

Without further ado, let’s begin. Here’s how to truly find  untapped keywords that can help you create the right content for your blog. At this point I recommend using as many as possible so that you find untapped keywords that a few, if any, other people are optimizing it.

This is how you’re going to do that. The first step, you’ll have to do good research using a good Google Keyword Planner, which is one of my favorite keyword research tools, it’s also the favorite of marketers who are doing keyword research on their marketing activity.

What you’ll do once you have the Google Keyword Planner, click on the search for new keywords and ad group ideas, just like you normally would. The screen that will pop up will look like this.

Once you have this screen on your laptop, the next thing is to add a page, and that page should be something that is related to your competitor or something that you’ve found interesting and related to your niche, and you want to do research on it.

An example, for me, a personal finance niche, which is my favorite niche, which is part of my hobby, because since I finished my college and degree, I studied business and finance.

For example, in my case study, what I did—I pick one of the pages from the Yahoo finance, where I wanted to do more research so I’m able to come up with a keyword where I’m able to build my brand, build traffic and increase the revenue for my business.

For example, this is one of the finance Yahoo page, where I found it, and this is what I’ll be doing and analyzing it up until the email marketing outreach.

What I did, I put that page on the Google Keyword and managed to come with two beautiful keywords, as you can see. The first one is money needed for retirement, and the other one is how to prepare for retirement.

If you’re in personal finance, you can use these keywords.  You can just go ahead. Once you’ve done that, as you can see, those are two beautiful keywords, which I was happy about it.

Based on those keywords, you can create an authoritative content that will attract traffic and deliver backlinks. Those are creative keywords you want to use. Any other pages you can use—you can use press release, your competitor’s blog posts or Pinterest pages, which has awesome pages of relevant niches.

After you’ve done that, the next thing—you have to create the right content. Do not create the right content without gating any untapped keyword for your business, because if you do that, definitely, you will feel ahead, because this strategy—it only involves three steps.

One is what you just discussed about getting untapped keywords, secondly is creating the right content, and lastly, but not the least, is promoting your content through blogger outreach. Once you’ve found the right keyword, as I’ve said earlier, the next step is to create the right content.

How do you create the right content? The best place where you can get the popular right content is to go to Google.com, where you’re going to type in your keyword and you’re going to see popular content on the top search engine results. This is the best place where you’re going to get it.

Once you’ve done that, you need to analyze the top 10 and see where you’re going to be able to make adjustment, where you’re going to be able to. Once you’ve done that, then we’re going to see how successful you are.

Let’s go back to keywords that you’ve found. Type one of the keywords you found above into Google. For example, let’s use how to prepare for retirement as an example.

As you can see, once I inserted how to prepare for retirement into Google search results, this is what I came up with. As you can see, on the top 10 search results, you can see most of the articles that—list articles. This shows you that so many people already wrote for so many ways on how to prepare for their retirement.

Now, I’ll ask you, what do you notice on the top 10 search results? You’ll notice it consists of list articles. This means people are looking for numbers of ways for preparing for their retirement. In your case, what you will do is create a list article between 23 to 33 and each should be in-depth with actionable tips.

Successful content on how to prepare for retirement are lists. Once you do that, make sure it targets your readers, subscribers or potential reader who comes to your site or blog.

The next step is what I call pure and clean promotion. Clean promotion means these are white hat strategies, not black hat strategies. Once you’ve analyzed the top 10 results, the next step will be content promotion strategy, and this is the best part of this strategy.

Once you’ve created the right, authoritative content, you will need to promote it like you depend on it, but there’s one promotion strategy that has proven to work with all niches, and that is blogger outreach marketing.

The first step is to use ahrefs.com or any other backlink checker to find all links pointing to the old content. For example, based on the keyword we found, we found how to prepare for retirement—once I analyze the top 10, the top 10 had Huffington Post, which is ranking number two.

What I learned from that—I took that page and put it into ahrefs.com and out of the results, this is what I came up with. I decided to pick three. Out of these three, what you’ll do—make sure you get contact for these particularly relevant backlinks, then, you start building relationship from there.

Once you do that, make sure you show the blogger or reporter your superior content, right? This shows you the keyword and content you created based on the above metrics proves to work and it can generate viral traffic and first page of Google.

The next thing you have to do—you’ll have to email people linking to the old content, the Huffington Post page, to let them know about your new piece of superior content, right? Before I show you the next step, which is mouthwatering, because I’ll show you a word for word script I use for my outreach process, let me just for you, so you can be able to understand this process.

It’s so simple, and once you execute it effectively, I can assure you you’re going to get results. The first step, make sure you do accurate research. Out of the accurate research, make sure you use your competitor’s page or any popular page within your niche, then make sure you use Google keywords that will help to come up with adept keywords.

Once you do that, the next step, make sure you write authoritative content. While doing the authoritative content, I mean the content should have actionable tips and practical insights that will help and engage your readers.

Once you’ve done that, then you come and do blogger outreach, which we’re going to talk about next. Now, as I said earlier, I’ll show you the word for word script I used.

Now, my subject line was about 15 jaw dropping tips for investing gold and silver, under subject body, this is how I wrote it. Hey, I hope all is well and fantastic, and I love your objective of offering particular tips on how to invest money and gold across all categories of our life.

Awesome, now this shows you that blogger outreach really works if you follow the right process and steps. Let me show you the second reply I got from my 15 jaw dropping tips. This came from Molly O’Brien.

She says hey, Bill, thanks for getting in touch and I’m glad to hear you like the interesting news roundups. Thanks for sending your article, too, we don’t currently publish new investing news roundups, but will definitely check it out, regardless.

Wow, that’s  Molly O’Brien. Despite Molly not doing news roundups, but she was able, now, to check it out on my content, regardless of the situation. I was really happy about it. Thanks, Molly.

Another reply was from Investors Alley. Whereby the response was thank you for your email and support, Bill. We pride ourselves on bringing actionable advice to our readers, and are growing every day to fulfill that goal. I mostly do subscriber service and outreach, but I will pass your message to the right people.

Before I show you one of my worst, as I’m calling it, because I did respect to receive this kind of email, when you’re doing your blogger outreach, do not expect every reply will be 100 percent. Other people will not reply, others will reject, others will be able to get positive response.

If you’re a first time blogger who wants to do email outreach, just make sure you have strong heart, because most of the time if you’re doing email outreach, you’ll be getting worst email replies. Out of humanity, let me just show you the one that I got from LinkedIn, where I was doing email outreach.

This came from Donald Sisk. I was shocked, but I wasn’t broken. Now, this is what he said. Bill, perhaps this is jaw dropping for people who know nothing about investing in gold. I would never suggest that anyone invest in gold mining companies as a way to own gold. The two are very different.

In owning physical gold, I believe that you missed a few costs for this. If you are taking delivery of the material, there are costs for that, there should be insurance and also, prices can vary according to the mint. Coins are a good value for smaller investors.

I think most sophisticated investors know to carry a minimum of 10 percent of their portfolio in precious metals. Donald. Wow, I was shocked, but because I’m used to email outreach, it just emboldened my effort and I continued to do the rest of my email outreach, but this is just advice.

If you are first time, please do not heartbroken, because this is way of life. As I’m wrapping up, yes, these are real responses that I received. That’s the way of life.
