I am not seeing blogs that I expect to see

We make every attempt to ensure worthy blogs are searchable within GroupHigh. Occasionally, we miss a few. It is important to note that we do not consider ourselves an influencer identification tool, we are specifically geared to blog outreach and therefore only show blogs that are best suited for outreach. For example: if you search for blogs that write about “ipad apps” you would expect to see TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and Mashable at the top of the search results because they write daily articles on ipads and apps. We do not consider these blogs ideal targets for blog outreach because they produce a HUGE volume of posts on various topics. If you want to pitch TechCrunch or Mashable you will need to rely on traditional PR tactics and network your way to an editor.

We believe that the best blogs are in the so-called “magic middle”. The Magic Middle contains blogs that have a loyal, passionate, and active community and are ranked on their ability to be social and attract an audience -these are the blogs that we recommend our clients focus on.
